The International Women Online Journal of Distance Education (intWOJDE) is independently owned and managed by Prof. Dr. Emine Demiray, who also serves as the founding and Editor-in-Chief of the journal. She is currently affiliated with Anadolu University, Open Education Faculty, but the journal operates autonomously and is not institutionally affiliated.

The journal’s editorial processes are carried out in collaboration with national and international editorial board members. All editorial decisions — including article acceptance, peer review coordination, and publishing policies — are made independently by the editorial board, in line with principles of editorial freedom and academic integrity.

intWOJDE does not receive any institutional sponsorship or commercial support. All publishing activities are sustained through voluntary editorial efforts and limited individual resources.

This independent structure enables the journal to maintain its mission of supporting open-access academic publishing and promoting the participation of women in open and distance education globally.
